cry in this forum for a while, dust yourself off pick yourself up start working somewhere with an angle for IB/PE, network, learn technicals and keep on applying and interviewing and eventually you’ll get there - there’s no secret. Good luck! 

 

if you’re depressed because you didn’t get IB or PE, LOL bro get a life seriously. I am very depressed working in IB and the only way to stop being depressed for me is leaving IB (which I’m doing). 


This industry might be worse than working in the mines. Pay isn’t even that good because of HCOL (and hourly pay is dogshit), your mental and physical health suffers, your relationships with family and friends suffer. You don’t want this champ. Consider it a bullet dodged. 

 

But if I work in IB I can get to PE or high paying tech jobs I want the comp and my interest has been in the space too
