Hello all. I've recently started doing non-IB project finance advisory work at a consulting company, mainly financial modeling. My question is, when and how should I start preparing for PE recruiting? I'm not sure if I should start right now, since I haven't been assigned on any single deal/project yet. AFAIK, my team has a solid reputation and I'll be doing a lot a lot of modeling.
