Recommended AI Tools to Use

Is anyone leveraging ChatGPT like tools in the workflow? I have a couple friends who started doing that and they are pleased about the time savings. Keen to find out what tools you guys use that are more professional and appropriate for finance and advisory instead of classic ChatGPT

I’m not able to use it in my current role but my previous firm leveraged a platform called Parrot AI for transcribing and summarizing internal meetings and customer calls (after being given consent to record). Otherwise I just use ChatGPT to assist with desktop research and to help get up to speed on complex industries.

We also took a look at an AI solution for modeling but really only found it useful for quickly putting together a mini model on CIMs, and even then it wasn’t really saving you any time because you still had to input financials. For a more robust operating model tailored to a specific business, it wasn’t very helpful. Happy to follow up on this thread and provide the name of the business when I can think of it

My bank has blocked access to ChatGPT but I think GPT 4 has some useful plugins for finance. How do I get around this?

You could use dedicated different tools that are not as famous as ChatGPT directly
