Recruiting for Charlotte PE?
Any thoughts on Charlotte PE firms? Does anyone know when these guys recruit? I’m in my second analyst year and considering jumping in 2024 but want to stay in Charlotte.
I’d welcome any opinions / insights on firms like Ridgemont, Falfurrias, Pamlico, Summit, etc.
Don’t know the market too well, but off the top of my head Pamlico, Ridgemont, Summit Park, Carousel, Kian, Frontier are all pretty legit names. I know a few of them recruit through headhunters (I think Bellcast covers Pamlico and Ridgemont) but this is probably a situation where networking and proactively reaching out to folks at firms you’re interested in could go a long way.

I saw someone from Main Post based in CLT as well.
Believe Falfurrias recruits pretty early. A buddy of mine recruited there in November of 2021 for Summer 2023. Pamlico recruits more in line with on-cycle but will still hire outside of that relatively consistently.

Also a Charlotte banker. Did an interview with Pamlico back in March 23 for summer 24 start.
Would imagine majority of firms keep spots open for off cycle
I mean even pamlico interviewed for 2024 slots in 2022
