Contemplating quitting outright. How hard is recruiting with no job in hand, especially for lateral roles? Hard but doable or kiss of death?

Have I seen unemployed analysts land positions at different banks? Yes it’s called finding a job. Is it easier to do so when you have a job? Yes.
I gotta stop click into posts where people ask for help with little to zero relevant info and expect people give anything more than logic thinking.
I was always told, don’t quit your job until you have a new one lined up. This advice proved useful.
