Hah, I also got this recruiter email. Can't speak to culture/comp but they're essentially in the same vein as firms like Constellation Software, although their average deal sizes are typically much larger. It's vertical-focused Corp Dev.
Got the email as well. Given what they say in the email about the expected deal activity...how can they execute on that much with a 2-3 person deal team?
You would be surprised how much can get done with 2-3 people who know what they're doing and a trusting executive office.

I haven't worked for them, but when I spent time as a debt investor covering manufacturers, Roper was one of the only companies that had frequent M&A with successful execution and we were happy to invest in them, so if you're interested in corp. dev. it would be a great place to get experience.

Curious as to what the pay came out to be as well.
I'm guessing that (despite the very low pay) this would be an excellent pre-MBA role though?
