RX CO Exits to IB/PE

Hey all -

I have a super day at a top RX consulting firm coming up for a FT role. I had an IB SA gig at a top MM this summer but unfortunately did not receive a return offer. The FT hiring market in IB is cooked and I've accepted that I'm likely going to have to do something else before trying to get  back into IB. Wanted to get thoughts on lateraling from RX CO to an EB, BB, or top MM IB after 1-2 years. Seems like people don't exit as commonly from RX CO. I would prefer to do IB but RX CO seems like a good gig that applies finance/accounting skillsets pretty well, and is a good substitute for IB, given hybrid of financial and operational work. My ultimate goal has been to get into PE, but have had to do some reflecting on that given the no-offer.

Would love to hear any thoughts. Thanks in advance.
