RX FT vs Top BAML Group for Value PE

Currently set to intern in a top BAML group (M&A, LF, Sponsors) and have an interest in Value/distressed focused PE Exits (Cerberus/Centerbridge type places). At a strong undergrad school (Duke/Uchicago/ND caliber). Would the looks will be there or should I try to get into a RX seat for FT?

BofA top group should be good enough for most generalist UMM/MF looks, but RX would be better if you are looking for a distressed shop. If you have the opportunity to take HL/EVR/PJT Rx, I would take it

What kind of Rx are we talking here. The delta between PJT/EVR and RayJ Rx is quite large.
