SAT scores for PE Recruiting

I know headhunters will ask for SAT scores and some PE firms will really care about them but my situation is a little unique. I went to a school outside of the U.S. so my school didn't require me to submit my scores. I, however, did take the SAT twice to see how I'd perform and I did not do great. To avoid being dinged when getting screened because of something I tried in high school, when HHs ask for my SAT scores, is it an issue if I leave those sections blank or just say I did not need the test for my school which isn't a lie?

Also worried if I say I didn't take the SATs then a firm does a background check and sees I did the test twice idk how many years ago. Any advice is heavily appreciated.
