Does anyone have insights into Silverlake? What are the hours like at the analyst and associate level?How is comp?

Friend of my mine works at SLP and from what I know, what you said seems to be about right. Comp is great, they love working their/culture is good and very intense hours.
Is this for the Menlo Park or NYC office?
I only have exposure to NY office, however I have never heard anyone call that office's culture great (have a couple friends who worked there). Hours are regularly 80+, and comp is top of street with great opportunities to invest in the fund even as an associate.

Definitely wouldn’t go so far as to say their culture is great. On a process with them right now and they work around the clock. Pay/prestige can’t be beat if you like tech PE but they seriously grind.
