Everyone knows PE VP+ career NPV has gone down. How structural / by how much is up in the air still.

Assuming you like fundamental investing and are offered the opportunity today at VP level, if you could pick between a top single manager / longer duration HF an Top 3 / Tier 1 PE shop, which one would it be? (NPV, WLB, competitive intensity, exit path if it doesn’t work out, internal evolution…)
