Asked a headhunter awhile back and got a fairly weird response. Is this for 2025 or 2026?

Why do you think? Poor decision making and judgment which led to bad investment decisions.

If you’re funds aren’t performing well, you can’t continue to raise money, which leads to departures since you can’t properly incentivize your junior team.

They aggregated a lot of aum during a period where it was simply easier to raise funds at faster rates. With time and changing market conditions, it’s only just now becoming clear how atrocious some of the investments they made are.
