If those topics were completely useless, don't blame me, blame my programmers...
How long is a thread? Jokes aside, just getting the basics knowledge of SQL - enough tell a more experienced user what to do - can be done in about two weekends. But really grasping underlying concepts etc takes much longer. What industry are you in / where would you use it?
