No bro don't stay close to school are you joking? Morning side heights and uws are trash. You're young in your 20s you should be in one of: soho, west village, east village, Greenwich village, noho (bond st), LES. That's it - trust me when I say your life will be materially upgraded. At 40 you will not miss the 20k p.a. that you incrementally invested in the market in your 20s, but you will miss every memory you didn't create bc you lived 45 mins away from the action and therefore didn't go out or couldn't get that one date to come home after 

 

Appreciate the the feedback and full transparency here. What are your thoughts on Hell's Kitchen or something in UWS?I have never commuted to work or class. A little worried about getting into a location/situation that makes it challenging getting to class. But also don't want to sacrifice social/experiential elements of my time there.
