FWIW have heard that the decision to pivot to a family office structure was more of a conscious decision that the founders made (looks like fundraising performance was always choppy?), so they have been supportive of ppl that want to leave to pursue more traditional PE roles and are investors in many of the spinout funds. Think Boca has always been their biggest office. Can't confirm but have anecdotally heard that all levels have deal-by-deal carry as part of comp
