Switch from financial due diligence to PE

Hi,

I am very keen to switch from my current role in TS (London office) to a front-office role in a PE firm. I have two years of deal experience mainly in the financial services space (various sell-side and buy-side work for banks, Asset Management companies, insurance companies and fintech).

I would like to seek opinion on whether obtaining an MBA from a M7 will make the change from financial DD to PE role much more easier/viable.

Took my GMAT and scored a competitive 700 and my undergrad degree is a first-class from a UK university.
