T2 Consulting to PE
I am curious to know what the outlook would be for someone in a T2 consulting firm looking to exit to private equity. The consulting firm is TMT focused so I would be likely be exiting to a TMT specialized PE firm. Wanted to know what the chances of that are and what the exits would look like.
Is it a firm like LEK or Parthenon that will provide a lot of CDD/diligence exposure? Assume you’re doing a consulting associate program (2-3 years)?
Yes, I would be getting a lot of CDD exposure and likely stay for 2 years minimum
Ok great. That'll be solid experience. If you prep appropriately, I think you'll place well, particularly within MM (which is more flexible on branding than MFs which are more myopically MBB focused).
