T2 Strategy Consulting to PE/VC/Growth

I'm considering application to a few different consulting firms in London and I'm wondering about how the T2s place into investment jobs on exit.
I'm finishing a PhD in a Life Science adjacent field and am hoping to get into LS related VC, Growth, or PE after a few years in consulting.

I'd be most interested in hearing how the following firms place (though this is not exhaustive):
EY-Parthenon
S&
OW (especially considering their recent Huron Life Science acquisition)
LEK (also understand they're strong for LS and DDs)

Thanks

I have some good friends at Strategy& in London. Or that were there recently. One just left for a European VC firm; an older one is currently at a MF. I know a lot of people exit into PE, mostly MM. However, they are in the deals part of Strategy&; so PE is their bread and butter

A PhD will help you immensely - particularly in such a hot topic
