Terra Firma, London
Hey guys,
Quick one - can anyone provide some up to date insight into Terra Firma? Particularly interested in:
-
Salary for Analysts/Associates?
-
Exit opps (LDN)
-
Overall culture?
I've read through WSO and it seems people think its shit. Wanted to know if this perspective is still relevant going into 2022? I got contacted by them and I am considering going for it since I have nothing in the pipeline.
Ignore title, currently working in PE.
Was in the process with them for their analyst programme last year. Was quoted £35k starting with 5k increases every 6 months until associate. Annual bonus is deferred until you make associate after 2/3 years and commit to staying.
Given this salary, plus lack of deal flow and inability to fund raise, it’s fair to say this is below market.
However, what I would say is that it’s a solid option if you have no other offers / it could trump other offers if you want to do investing long term (eg better than consulting, lesser known M&A boutiques etc). I could see getting the rotational experience and then lateraling to another shop very doable.
thanks man,
do you happen to know the associates salary? I assume around 50ish.
Might still go for it tbh with the idea to switch to another shop. In your opinion, what shops would be doable from terra firma in your opinion? or exit opps in general.
Toxic firm. Returns are utter garbage. No respect in industry.
