Saw IAC is in the news recently. They are the people behind Tinder and seem to acquire a bunch of tech companies.

IAC is one of the greatest media companies of all time. Barry Diller is a legend. He was the close mentor of Dara (of Uber) and iirc very close to Brad Gerstner of Altimeter as well (forget the exact connection but related to travel internet businesses).
