Thoughts on Stellex Capital? ($2.6B AUM)
Anyone have thoughts on the firm in New York? Young company with 800M first fund and 1.8B second fund. Seems like it's growing and has a strong founding team.

Went through the process at Stellex and know someone at the firm. Echoing what you said about the strong founding team, the founding partners came from Carlyle SP, and the rest of the team seems to have come from reputable backgrounds. Very solid and interesting firm; they have strong returns and can invest across the cap structure. The culture, in my opinion (been through interviews at MFs, MM shops, growth shops, etc), is one of the best I've seen for NYC PE.
