Tikehau sucks
I went in for an interview in NYC for Tikehau's secondaries team and the guy who is head of the fund was really unpleasant. Kept being pretty condescending and terse. I also realized he was in Marketing for the firm before randomly transitioning to the investment team and he's only a director but being called head of the fund. I got the vibe that they were cheap and didn't want to pay an MD lol. Anyway, I told the recruiter I didn't get a good feeling so I'm going to bow out and stay at my current shop.
They pay horrendous as well, don't bother with this firm
Vacation policy was good since they're a French socialist firm but ya when they told me the pay I was like aight I'm out

The French peaked with Marquis de Lafayette, and it’s been downhill for them ever since.
Saying the french peaked is like saying there's a mountain but it's underwater, france never got the chance to peak
Is it just me or do you also find the French to be incredibly arrogant and difficult to deal with when doing deals?

I can confirm the OP - I worked in the NYC office. Weak talent pool, dumb management, and poor pay. Avoid them.
I can tell you that place is not as bad as Sycamore Partners
