Tips to succeeding in a new role

I just hit the 6 month mark in my new role and I am struggling, hard. For reference, made the move from MM IB to MM PE and jumped industries from one that was fairly simple and straightforward to one that is far more technical. I just feel like an absolute idiot compared to everyone and like I’m not keeping up with the pace. I had a mini mental breakdown last week because I feel overwhelmed and so far behind everyone and like I’m more of a burden to my team members than an asset and I’m just feeling a lot of shame right now. I haven’t gotten any bad feedback, just areas I need to improve, and I know I can improve I just feel like the other assos are running circles around me and it sucks. I left a sweatshop situation and while WLB is far better, I feel like I stick out like a sore thumb negatively because of the culture differences, and because most people worked in groups within this industry prior to joining. I just feel like maybe I’m not cut out for this, which sucks because I do love it. I don’t know, I’m just trying not to hit a death spiral, so any words of advice or encouragement would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
