Golden Gate’s entire tech team recently spun out so wouldn’t really say they do much tech anymore. MDP and THL do some tech but wouldn’t really call them specialists / experts. I’d say top names that come to mind for me would be:

FP, Clearlake, Genstar, GTCR, NMC, GI, Hg come to mind as top tech focused / tech slanted UMM funds.

Also growth names (TA, Insight, GA) all do UMM buyouts too

Fair, when he said TMT I was referring to anything that touched part of TMT, but realize there are a few names there that are really only focused on the tech part. THL does do a lot of tech though. Look at their portfolio, even outside of their designated "tech" group (they do fintech and HCIT too). Raised a separate sidecar vehicle for automation focused investments too.

Siris is a bit smaller than some of these funds but I'd include them too. Also would add Providence Equity and Marlin Equity.
