Top B School from PE Fundraising/Private Placement/Placement Agent/Private Funds Group?

Hey there, I was wondering how top B-schools would perceive an analyst experience at a top bank (Credit Suisse, Evercore, Lazard) in their Private Funds Group. This is the division that raises capital from institutional investors to invest in PE firms. This is something I am very interested in, although I would not develop as many technical skills as a typical IB analyst at these firms, as it is more of a marketing/sales/fundraising strategy role. Does anyone have personal or anecdotal experience of getting into an M7 school from being an analyst in this role? Thanks!

Hi! I left M&A after less than 2 years to join a placement agent. Please PM me if you have any questions. @Quint101" Unfortunately, I don't actually have a lot of insight about B-schools and how they would perceive experience at PFG vs. IB, so I won't comment. I haven't been to B-school (and don't plan to either). Hours are better but still 'long' if that makes sense, especially if you are at a bulge bracket vs perhaps a placement agent boutique which does the same thing.
