What are the top funds in TX and their pay? The only really major Tx hq'd MF is Vista, and last I heard their pay was 380k. Know some other funds like TA have smaller offices in Tx, but don't think all of them hire more than very small associates for the office.

Culture seems ok. No sourcing at all there is a BD team dedicated to that and a diligence team that is separate. They charge 3/30 and the only reason they can do that is they approach businesses with lowball offers and convince them their business is worth that little which can give you a better idea on how their pay is going to be for their employees.

They don’t invest in a specific sector. They are open to investment opportunities in tech, hc, industrial, and retail most of the time.

Friends their swear by the culture, but I always got a culty brainwash vibe from them. Would love for anyone to confirm or correct me.

Seconding this point.
