Having a background in one of the following would help, but it's not an end all to end all: - ECM or Fin Coverage groups at bulge brackets, - investor relations for the funds themselves, - operations and fund accounting for the funds themselves - pwm and the like - corporate finance - Big Four, elsewhere - lawyers with experience in the industry
