Typical Carry Terms for First Time Fund
Looking at a role where I’d be one of first ~3 employees at fundless sponsors. Current carry terms are decent but partner isn’t willing to give me clarity on how this would change if and when an official fund is raised. Does anyone have any data points for this? Also curious what typical carry economics are at fundless sponsors for VP level experience
Bump
Maybe to cast a wider net does anyone have any reference points for carry changes as a fund grows? Do early hires get rewarded?
So you're a VP, there is a partner that is paying your salary and owns 100% of the business and then an analyst? I have worked at a fund less sponsor in a similar situation and also a first time fund so can try and help, just need more data
