UMM/MF Analyst recruiting to different firm for associate?
Hi folks:
I’m currently an analyst at a UMM/MF PE firm and, for idiosyncratic (and legitimate) reasons, I’m possibly interested in recruiting for associate positions to a select few different firms.
What’s the best way to go about this without my firm finding out? Is on-cycle through HHs the best choice, or should I network with firms directly? Has anyone seen this/have experience with it?
Thank you.
Bump, have the same question - do you just avoid using the HHs your current firm uses? Want to set up a hedge without getting burned on the promotion
No joke, it’s not a big deal at all to test the waters, so don’t worry about it getting back to your employer. I literally took zoom interviews on my employee zoom account lmao. There’s no loyalty in this business.
