undergrad to PE process

Had a superday (sort of?) with a firm yesterday. Met with some people there, next steps would be to meet with more of the team...but wondering what anyone knows about the direct track from undergrad to PE. Anyone know about the recruitment process as it’s not the generic route (ie IBD then PE)?
