Unspoken Rules for Summer Interns (PE Edition)?
Saw the thread in the IB forum and wanted to see if there are any varying suggestions for incoming PE SAs like myself. I assume majority of the advice would be very similar but would love to know if there are any other things to note specific to PE/the buyside.
something someone probably won't tell you directly, but you aren't going to have as many people around/above you on a deal team as in IB.
Need to be more self-sufficient than an average intern in IB
do you think there's things that can be done to prepare for the types of tasks so that I won't be as dumbfounded? Like some of those basic skills you have more time/leniency to build in IB
