Dream PE fund was a combination of reputation and WLB. Kinda unrealistic, but obviously would be sick to work at a MF/make a nice salary/have the brand name for bschool, while also not having to continue sacrificing your soul for the job.
I just signed at a climate team at a MF (was my top choice, love the team/space) and am hoping that the WLB will be more reasonable than at the main fund.
