What PE looks for in a target?
Hi All, I want to quickly gather your thoughts on what are the main things a PE shop looks for in a target. General things sprint to mind include cash generative, healthy growth trajectory, clear operation levers can pull to improve efficiency, margin expansion and foreseeable ways of a successful exit.
Thank you in advance!
Each PE firm is different.
Look at the investment criteria on its website.
Depends on the specific PE firm. What a distressed buyer looks for with a very specific strategy is completely different than a normal PE firm that buys healthy/growing companies.
Thank you guys! Agree that the question is a bit too broad. We operate in growth space, will look up some growth PEs websites.
