Who has a better chance enter PE, FDD Manager at B4 or ER SA at a MM bank?

Recently received an offer as a ER Associate at a MM bank. My background is an Accounting major from a semi-traget school, went to B4 working FDD for 2 years now. If my final career goal is to go to PE, should I stay for 2-3 more years to become a Manager or should I accept the offer and become a ER SA in 2-3 years? Also, which position would be more helpful considering applying for MBA in the future?
