Seen a couple of threads recently discussing placement agents/fundraising for PE but it just sounds like a sales role to me?
Curious to know what is the attraction to placement agents/fundraising for PE? What are the reasons someone would want to pursue this career and not continue in IBD or move to PE where you can make tonne more money?
