Working in Data Rooms / Key take-aways and insights

Hey monkeys,

Wanted to get ya'll advice and tips / tricks for working with data rooms. I've worked in data rooms before but it was mostly to pull data for whatever my manager was looking for (e.g., we needed to look at some historical comps or something) but haven't had to lead the data room efforts myself - this will be my first time doing so.

I feel decently comfortable cutting and manipulating data so the actual execution should be fine. But from a high-level what are a few things you'll typically want to take away from working in a data room and what are high-level steps on how to do that. I know this is completely dependent on the type of customer and what the business does, but any tips.

For example - one thing I'm thinking of is I should probably look at top accounts/customers to project revenue, profitability, margins, etc. right? But is it as simple as taking an average of say top 10 customer accounts if they make up say 90% + of revenue or is there a specific way to draw these insights?

Any other tips / tricks or ideas of what to be on the look out for would be greatly appreciated!
