Would you use a centralized sponsor research page before meetings?

For those in PE or banking, would you use one centralized page to prepare for a meeting with a specific sponsor?

The idea is to pull together the research already collected on that firm, including prior interactions, recent activity, investment focus, relevant deal context, and links back to the underlying sources.

Would this meaningfully reduce prep time, or would you still prefer to search across your CRM, inbox, notes, and shared folders? What information would need to be there for you to trust and use it?

FWIW we use Arvya for this. I basically just show up to calls with everything I need now instead of digging through PitchBook, CRM, old emails, etc. saves a ton of time for us

For OP - Any reputable LP (have close friends at multiple both large & small) already has a platform / interface to manage this. If you're in banking, this would be used very little and every group already tracks reputable buyers and their owned assets. In PE, like SaaS chimp mentioned, this has very little use case for someone on the investment side. Most of this is handled by biz dev (sourcing), in terms of understanding where peers are investing and when a PE owned asset is coming to market.

Respect for trying to find interesting business ideas, but this is not one of them.
