Career Resources
There have been some absolutely epic threads on WSO about FTP. Alot of bashing for culture, hours, pay etc. I would probably lean toward Oppenheimer given these 3 choices. If you want to go into VC though you should probably live in San Fran so perhaps FTP.
Wasnt aware D&P had their superday already. when was that?
OpCo is going through a really rough time from what I hear. An analyst I know just got laid off, and he was describing a pretty grim situation with almost no deal flow.
I know OpCo has a better name, but I've been worried about deal flow too. I'm probably leaning more towards HF work then VC. In terms of exit opps to HFs, I think it might be:
1) OpCo 2) FTP 3) D&F
But I could use a second opinion.
Would agree if you want HF. If you want VC, go FTP.
FTP >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Opco and D&P. Easy decision
If OpCo has enough deal flow to hire you they can't be completely going under. I think it's a better name for exit and you're only going to be there 2-3 years.
