Agency Underwriting Comp
I currently work as an UW analyst for a DUS lender (think Arbor / Lument / W&D) in a MCOL city. We UW agency debt which has already passed our screening.
I make 70k base + 30% bonus but up for a promotion here soon. Can anyone provide some insight on what I can expect salary wise once promoted to full UW? Would like to go into my year end review with some ammunition.
2 years exp, 45-50 hr week, MCOL city. Would like to eventually move to the production side or go work for a developer.

Might be a little low on the Bonus side based on deal flow, but MCOL its really depending on mkt. Don't worry myself included Agency lenders seemed a bit stingy on bumping bonus structures up this year after the last couple of down years. Not just MCOL cities but HCOL and even Tertiary markets.

Did you make the move at the same shop? Are you a producer now yourself or an analyst for one?
.
Tips/advice on going from UW to production? Does being on the screening side help make that transition more seamless?
