What types of programs have you been applying to? REPE/REIB is definitely going to be extremely competitive if you are.
Understand it will be competitive, but I believe I have a competitive profile (or like to think I do). Nonetheless, there are many factors that are out of my control in the process as well, but will still keep pushing forward. I have cast a very wide net in terms of my search (CMBS, debt funds, REPE, investment sales, development). I'm really looking for the best opportunity, seeing what comes in hand, and will go from there.
