Any Chinese Firms Still Actively Investing in US CRE
Does any one know any Chinese companies that still actively invest in US commercial real estate? I know China Life and some other quasi-GSE still do, but what about private firms? Thanks.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, Chinese investment in U.S. commercial real estate has significantly declined in recent years. Between 2010 and 2015, Chinese investors were major players, with over $110 billion invested in U.S. real estate. However, regulatory changes and economic shifts have reduced their activity. While quasi-GSEs like China Life may still be involved, private firms have scaled back due to stricter Chinese capital controls and concerns over the U.S.-China relationship.
If you're looking for specific private firms, the current environment suggests fewer active players compared to the peak years. You might want to explore firms with existing U.S. partnerships or those leveraging VIE structures for international investments.

JD.com. They have a logistics business under JDP
Thanks. Great company, but looks like their business is all in Asia plus some Europe, but none in North America.
They have a business in North America. I interviewed with them last year. Kai-yan Lee is the head of the team, based in NYC.
Interesting. Seems like North America is a new market for them. Did you end up getting the job?
Dropped out of the process after case study round. got a better role and didn’t feel like wasting time. I do know the guy who they ended up hiring though
