Argus Course

I’m a new college graduate hoping to break into real estate. I’ve tried to break into the industry the past 3 months without having Argus training. However, my excel skills are pretty strong. I’ve come to the realization that it’s extremely difficult, damn near impossible to get a position without knowing how to Argus. I found an Argus course that I could take and complete in 2 days. However, I’m unsure if I should do so because what if I end up taking a role where Argus is not used? I know multifamily roles don’t use Argus. Me getting Argus training then me not using Argus for years seems like a waste. Also, I’ve been told by many professionals that jobs will train you in Argus once hired.

its not impossible to get a role without being argus certified but maybe the person you are going up against might be. theres no direct answer to your situation but getting certified wont "hurt" you or your chances of landing a role in anyway where not having the cert can make a slight difference, especially if you are entry level
