Argus Test (Interview)
I have a modeling test coming up in an interview with a major fund/capital allocator and I've been informed that it will be an Excel + Argus exercise.
I know what to expect from the Excel side of the test, but want to get some more color on the Argus tests. If I have to venture a guess, I figure I'll be given some basic info to build out a relatively barebones Argus from scratch so that I can dump the cash flows into the Excel and complete the usual exercises there. Another possibility would be getting an existing Argus and making some outlined changes to different variables and then exporting the cash flows.
What have you all seen in your experience?
I would expect barebones and will have to build an argus model from scratch based on a case study. They'll probably give you a rent roll and other assumptions. Then export cash flows and paste into excel.
I've only had a few tests though.
