Artemis Real Estate Partners?
Anyone have any thoughts or info on Artemis Real Estate Partners assets/investments/comp/prestige/exit opps? I know they have a big presence in DC and some in NYC, but that's about it.

prestige is like a 6.9 on the prestige scale
For context Hugh Jackman is a 8.0 on the prestige scale while Christian Bale is a 12.

Assets and investments are similar (and in some cases identical) to the ones you’ll find in their PR releases
They invest in the main food groups for their core-plus and value-add funds + separate accounts. Footprint has historically been in DC and LA but they are starting to expand. The teams are very lean so they work hard and comp is strong. Have a great reputation in DC and a few Associates have moved on to reputable groups and bschools (HBS).
Any insights into hours per week? Have generally heard its not super sweaty (based off other posts and comments in this thread) - curious as to actual hours per week though.
I heard that things recently changed. One of their guys used to fully UW almost every deal that used to come across. A few folks in DC recently left so they were pretty thin.
It’s not unusual to trade emails with them at 10-11pm (obviously not that bad compared to IB)
Artemis is very legit. Everyone there is really sharp.
I worked at Artemis and they are a great organization. Not a sweat shop, great leadership, financially strong, progressive & mission driven.
Hmm, brand new account? This would carry more weight from an anonymous and certified account. Anyone can make a new account and talk about how some Company is “not a sweatshop”
Fair point. I can't prove to you that I have no vested interest in promoting them as an employer, but I guess what I would say here is that I'm a 15 year professional in the RE/PE space and I do not frequent these types of forums regularly until today. This topic caught my eye given the goodwill that Artemis has earned from me after working at some of the largest players in the RE/PE space (i.e. Starwood, Carlyle). I have no financial ties with them either.
Take this however you'd like.
Artemis is solid, which is based off people I know and respect there.
What does comp/culture/hours look like
From what i've heard, it's in line with Carlyle...$200k-$250k all-in for associate
Even first year associates?
I would assume AS1 is probably closer to $200k and then it ramps each year.
What’s the split between base and bonus?
It’s $150k all-in for a first year associate. $90k base and $60k bonus
Pretty low for a firm of their caliber IMO....do you know if the hours are good?
How structured is their hiring process…do they partake in on-cycle hiring? If so, do they select candidates through headhunters or by word of mouth?
Headhunters and relationships, from what I heard
A headhunter reached out to me about Artemis so I'm assuming that's their norm. They wanted someone with IB background if possible.
lol good luck getting someone IB level with $150k starting comp
Looking into their 2022 FT analyst program, anybody know any info as to interview timeline? Also what analyst role/comp is like?
Can confirm they use headhunters for hiring. Friend who worked there (and has worked at other reputable shops) was not a fan of the culture. There will always be someone who can say something negative about a place, its about finding a good fit for you personally.
Do you know which headhunters specifically?

Selby Jennings contacted me about openings in the DC and Atlanta offices. Different recruiter for LA though. Not sure about NYC
Can you expand on what they didn't like about the culture? Certain personalities, hours, bureaucracy, etc.?
Also curious about this
Anyone apply for their summer 2022 internship? Had 1 interview and not sure if there were additional interviews.
Bumping this, anyone have any fresh insight into culture/hours/comp?
Which office, specifically?
Looking into the LA office specifically, should have specified
Bump for accurate analyst comp?
Bump for the NYC office
Was quoted 190-220k all-in in ATL. Not sure how they would handle NYC comp though.
How recent was this? Were you approached by a recruiter for the position or did you network directly?
