Was wondering if anyone has any color (funds, general insights, deals etc) on Asana Partners as some of the threads are a bit older.

If you want to do retail, I'd have a hard time thinking of a better place to work. Ex-EDENS folks who really know what they're doing.
Just curious, was there a reason why a lot of the people at EDENs jumped ship to start up Asana Partners?
EDENs changed their structure to a REIT around 2013 and the Asana group has been crushing it. Seems like a situation where it made sense to do your own thing.
BX took an ownership position in the firm back in 2013 and many of the principals made a bunch of dough and wanted to do their own thing.

Interviewed there last year. They’re doing other things than retail now like mixed use projects. Raise good sized funds. Met the folks in LA, solid people.

Want to bump, but was just curious about the interview if you don't mind sharing. Was it for an analyst role out in the LA office?

Sharp folks. Was in a meeting with one of the founders last week. They are entrepreneurial and are very active. Much of their retail portfolio may some day become mixed use so from a covered land play perspective they are regularly involved in discussions with vertical developers seeking to work with them.
