Asking for feedback and interpreting responses (remote working)
Hi all, I started a senior analyst/associate position remotely recently and worked with my manager on a deal. Everything went smoothly but my manager seemed annoyed over slack chat at a few revisions. After we submitted the deal I asked for feedback and everything was super minor and I had explanations for everything, which they understood (mainly just due to differences in how my previous firm trained me and did things). Overall the feedback was positive and they did not have too much to comment on.
Since I work completely remote and with new people/personalities, it can be hard to tell if they are really happy with my work. I guess my question is, if I am getting mostly positive feedback and no direct complaints, can I assume they are happy with my work? Is there any reason to be paranoid at all if everything seems cool? I'm just an overthinker by nature and still suffer imposter syndrome even 2+ years in, so this might come off obvious to some but wanted to hear yalls takes.

Hey I'm only a couple of months into my first corporate job so please take what I say with a grain of salt... I have come to the conclusion that if there's minimal notice and occasional positive feedback you are probably doing a good job. Remember that people take more notice of the negative than the positive so if it's been relatively silent on the feedback front you're in the clear. At least that's what I figured out with my managers!
