Associate Comp

What are people getting paid these days as Associates. It seems like it has moved upwards quite a bit industry wide and looking for anecdotal evidence of that. I can start:

Role: Megafund AM

Fund Size: $20B+

Market: Southeast

Experience: Associate 1

Base: $160k

Bonus: 60-70%

Hours: Varies, but 60-70

Think it could be beneficial to throw in city or region where you work as well given the delta between jobs you’d find in NYC vs sunbelt markets. I was recently quoted the following for the RE arm of a traditional PE firm:

Role: Acquisitions/AM

AUM: $20B+

Experience: 5 years

City/Region: Southeast

Base: $125k - $135k

Bonus: $75k - $100k

Anecdotally Hours would shake out more than most firms in the area.
