Plz help. Thank you.

Nothing will happen. Ignore it and don’t bring it up. Take it off your resume going forward - no reason to include your HS GPA unless it was actually a 3.9-4.0.
They have better things to do with their time - 100% they will not check. They didn’t hire you because your GPA was a 3.9 - that may have mattered when determining if you got an interview. They hired because they liked you IN the interviews.
I understand where you’re coming from though, I’ve been there before when I was younger. Congrats on the role!
Thank you for this. Just to confirm... you don’t think the third party conducting the background check will look into it?
The third party will only verify the information that was provided to them through the background check form.
Personally, I would call them and correct it.
Otherwise it might feel like you are Mike Ross. Do you want to live with that hanging over your shoulder?
Call the background company or the firm?
Ideally, both.
Firm if nothing else.
Damn the MS.
May not be a popular opinion and agree that no one cares about your high school GPA.
Still feel like correcting it is the right thing to do.
lmao nobody gives a shit about your high school gpa. even if it was on there I doubt anyone looked at it and thought anything other than "look at this mofo including his high school gpa".
i dont even remember my high school gpa. no one will care. take it off tho for the future.
Do not contact the firm about this. No one cares about your HS GPA. Take it off your resume though.
Honestly I thinks it's a bit weird that you included your HS on your resume, no one cares about that.
Agree that they won’t care, you’re there now and that’s what matters (unless its something egregious)
Lol you knew EXACTLY what you were doing. Putting a clearly incorrect high GPA to pass through the pre-screening process ... that's not fair on the next guy or gal who deserves it far more than your deceit and lies
False. I networked my way into the interview process... never even applied.
Ok then why dont you come clean with HR ? Let them know it's a mistake value, and let's see if it's irrelevant as you have implied otherwise. It's just not fair, I know plenty people who are super talented but screened out because of this point (internships etc but probably less for graduate roles) ... in my opinion, it does matter early on. Taking advantage of the system all this time, I get it ... you do you bhruv
