BB pwm internship vs Real estate transactions internship at global AM firm? Cannot decide. (London)
I've received offers for both, but unsure which to take. RE job is buy-side real estate equity for a large AM firm that also has RE debt funds (As well as priv. credit and all public asset classes). I imagine RE has stronger exit opps seeing as its transactions / deals so a lot of the work will involve modelling and market research. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's probably easier to move from the RE job to pwm than vice-versa? Only concern about RE job is the likelihood to convert into FT offer (transaction activity slowing) whereas pwm at a large bank probably has better chance of conversion.Any advice would help.
