I never seem to hear much about Berkadia, but they have a large presence in the multifamily realm. How does their mortgage banking compare to HFF, CBRE, etc.?
Any insights on comp, structure, culture, etc. would be appreciated!

Berkadia is a legit shop that is well-respected in my corner of MF REPE (I'm in SoCal). We just disposed of a $35MM asset and they brokered the sale, and we've bought and sold numerous other MF properties that were listed by Berkadia. No idea about comp, structure, or culture.
Anybody know if Berkadia has an analyst rotational program similar to berkely point capital's program?
Can't say anything on their culture, pay, etc, but they do a lot of volume through my region. We handle a lot of their appraisal work, for the most part they seem solid. They aren't one to come back and complain about stupid shit
Anybody have any information on Analyst compensation for this company? Varying informartion on glassdoor.

Berkadia is the 5th largest capital intermediary in terms of volume (originated $23 billion worth of loans in 2016). They operate primarily in the multifamily space and do a lot of agency business. Safe to say that Berkadia is in growth mode right now.
